typical wednesday night
This may or may not be a little out of character of me but tonight I am writing to you a little drunk. The people rave, and they want more! By people I mean my own father and Allie Spear of course. Two people, on a long list of people who I cannot wait to see! So Hollita came to NYC and was a saving grace, completely cleaned my apartment and ate tons of junk food with me. This week school has been...
Only in New York City
Only in New York City can you go to The Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition and 30 minutes later be 50 blocks away eating Texas meat market style BBQ and Blue Bell ice cream. Holly arrived in New York City yesterday and we are already having a blast, but who could blame us? When we join forces it’s a non-stop weekend of good food, great...
A beautiful day
Today was a glorious Sunday, but arn’t they all. I knew running in Central Park was going to be a challenge but man I was not expecting...
I am running the New York Mini Marathon 10k! WOO! I’m pretty excited, getting a little nervous for the hills of central park but am over all excited. EXCEPT 50-60% chance of rain tomorrow morning.
Great cause to support! http://www.toms.com/eyewear/
Memorial Day Weekend
So there’s this great little cobble stone street in Financial District with about 8-10 bars/restaurants that line it and fill the street with tables. This spot to me is like a get away from the city. The Financial District is completely dead at night until you approach this one street filled with tables, groups of people, and lots of drinks. The best part of it is Mad Dog and Beans, the best...
